It is not ourselves that we proclaim, we proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and ourselves as your servants for Jesus's sake.
Firstborn of all creation, Head of the Church, Author of our Salvation
Rector (Sinner-in-Chief, who gets to tell of God's grace)
Reverend Mother Jean
Theologian and Liturgist in Residence
Reverend Alex Lenzo, Rector I was born and baptized in Austin, TX, but my family moved to Las Cruces when I was 6, so I had the privilege of growing up in the Land of Enchantment. I left New Mexico to attend Wheaton College (IL), and Princeton Seminary. I met my best friend and wife, Becca, and after living and working in Philadelphia, we moved back to New Mexico, where we have been blessed by God with 3 beautiful children. I have worked as a youth minister and as a chaplain at an Episcopal middle-school. St. Francis is my first full-time call as a priest, and it has been a beautiful and grace-filled community in which to grow. As a family, we really like Harry Potter, Narnia, summer camp (yay Camp Stoney), and the Albuquerque Isotopes.
Reverend Mother Jean, Theologian and Liturgist in Residence The Rev. Jean Campbell grew up in the Episcopal Church and has spent her adult life working in the church. From 1974 to 2009 she was a member of the Order of St. Helena, a religious community in the Episcopal Church. As a lay woman she served as a teacher, leader of retreats, spiritual director, and as a consultant in liturgical spirituality. She has been active in the national church serving for many years on the Standing Liturgical Commission, the International Anglican Liturgical Consultation, and as a member of the Council of Associated Parishes.
